Wednesday Wisdom: Just Keep Blooming

WW post

This seriously should be my life mantra. Wise, wise words. If I’m being completely honest here, I’ve compared myself to others for as long as I can remember; it’s a personal flaw I’ve been “working on” most of my life. It’s hard sometimes to see the successes of others and not think to yourself – “If I had made different decisions, would I have the same successes…..what are they doing that I haven’t done…..why does it seem that my successes never seem to compare to theirs?”

Wednesday Wisdom: Ideals of Beauty

a beautiful soul

a beautiful soul

We’ve all heard the saying “eyes are the windows to the soul.” Well, what if they truly were? What if by peering into the eyes of another human being we truly could see the soul. What do you think we’d see? These very thoughts popped into my head when I saw the above photo on Pinterest last week.

Such a beautiful, beautiful message. Putting on a new dress, wearing a dramatic red lipstick, going to the salon, it’s how what we do on the outside makes us feel on the inside; how it soothes our soul. I truly believe that true beauty come from within.

Wednesday Wisdom: Good Things Take Time

With my good news today, I almost forgot this week’s Wednesday Wisdom post! Better late than never, right?

Good things take time. Really packs a punch doesn’t it? We all have dreams and goals. But, sometimes we don’t have the patience it may take to achieve those dreams. I speak for my self personally here. They say patience is a virtue – well, unfortunately is not a virtue I’ve mastered yet. What I do realize is that you shouldn’t give up on dreams and goals just because it may take longer to achieve them than we once originally thought. Success may come later in life. So have patience friends. It’ll be worth it in the end.

Wednesday Wisdom: A “Closed Door’ Doesn’t Mean the End of Your Dream

The above says it all; straight and to the point. It really is true that perseverance pays off in the end. Hey, as the old saying goes, “nothing worthwhile is ever easy” (or something like that). Never giving up, going after what you want and what makes you happy is something I’ve always believed in, and have said before, If I’m really honest with myself though – I have yet to truly do it. Recent occurrences in my life have finally made me realize that what matters is to do something with my life that truly makes me happy. Happiness is the most important thing in my opinion.

So, let’s do this! Let’s finally actually “talk the talk” AND “walk the walk”.

Wednesday Wisdom: Everything Will Be Alright

Out of all the Wednesday Wisdom posts I’ve done thus far, let me just say, If ever I were to have a life motto this would definitely be it. I’ve been through many struggles in my life and quite possibly have more to come, however, through those experiences I’ve become stronger and better. Even though “in the moment” it might not seem like it, in the end have faith that everything will turn out alright. Maybe not the way you thought originally, but the way it should be and the best way it should be.

Wednesday Wisdom: Don’t Let Fear Hold You Back

You’ve heard the famous saying “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Well, I think both FDR and Jack Canfield had the same idea. It really is true – the only thing holding you back from from pursuing your dreams, going after what you want, taking that next and sometimes scary and risky step is fear. This really holds true to my life right now.

Finding My Sunshine

Hello, hello! I’m still here! Sorry for the lack of posting the past few days. Things have been a bit busy, but for good reasons. Things have finally started to look up since I last posted this. I just got a promotion of sorts at work and am now a Social Media Manager. This is definitely going to keep me busy, busy, busy, but is a great new challenge. What I have found lately is that no matter how tough things get in life, always try and find a way to stay positive. I’m not gonna lie – it is VERY hard to do sometimes, but when you do, good things usually happen.

I’m not completely “out of the woods” yet so to speak,  and still have a few things to figure out, but the “light at the end of the tunnel” is getting brighter and brighter every day. Onward now with my continuing journey!   😉
