I am not a morning person and I never have been. I wish I could be. I also LOVE my sleep. Therefore, when it comes to getting up super early (well, super early in my mind at least) each day during the week to get ready for work, honestly the last thing I want to do is take a hour or more getting ready in the morning. Let me be honest – I AM LAZY.
It’s funny how your “beauty routine” changes as life goes on and you get older. My beauty routine has definitely changed over the years. I used to always be that women you’d see with a full face of makeup and perfectly styled hair (well…maybe not perfectly 😉 ). I used to never leave the house without makeup on .
Are you a beauty product addict…hoarder? More specifically, do you “hoard” nail polishes like it’s no one’s business? Guess what – so do I. #NoShame people. Seriously though, what is it about nail polishes? Why are they so easy to “collect”? These my friends are questions I’m pretty sure I will continue to ask myself for the foreseeable future. 😉
I thought I’d share my “collection” and obsession with you! Surely I’m not the only #nailpolishaddict out there, right?
Can you believe it’s already November? Wow. Thanksgiving and then….Christmas is rightaround the corner! Geez. While most of my month of October was spent preparing for and then moving to a new apartment, I did find time to discover a few favorites I thought I’d share with you. A few beauty items, a good read, a random thing or two and some great T.V. 🙂
Beachy hair, citrus, sand, sun, surf, backyard BBQ’s, relaxing, unwinding, reading and stripes. This is what inspired the creative minds at PopSugar for their June #MustHaveBox . Basically…. “summer in a box.”
Presenting my very first Get Ready With Me video. Let me preface this first by say that this is NOT a tutorial and I am no makeup artist. Quite frankly, this video is full of me making really goofy and funny “makeup faces” (ladies, you know what “faces” I’m talking about). But, alas, I decided to go for it!
I make it no secret that I might be a bit obsessed with nail polish. As shallow as this may sound, I don’t fully feel put together without my nails neatly painted. Even if it’s just a period of a couple of days without polish or chipped polish, I feel a bit weird. That very fact in itself is a bit weird, I know, but what can I say? That’s just me. So, when I came across a chance to get a couple of new luxury polishes each month to try out, how could I say no?
It’s my December favorites! Better late than never, right? 😉 I’ve been saying this for the over a week now, but I still can’t believe that Christmas is over and that it’s now 2013! Wow! Anyway, as always, December was a great month. It is and always will be my favorite time of year. Time to feel the holiday spirit, spend time with friends and family and then of course well a new year!
There actually were quite a few things that I loved in the month of December, the above featured are just a few. I am so glad that I started vlogging this year along with my blog; just another great way to share and connect with you guys! Thanks so much for your time this year and I look forward to a fabulous 2013!
It’s the beginning of a new month and do you know what that means? It marks the beginning of a new tradition here on the blog – my monthly favorites! Being the fashion-obsessed and beauty-obsessed blogger and woman that I am, I’m always trying out new products, clothing, etc. Well, why not share this with you my lovelies!
Now, when you view this video and see that it is almost 22 min., I know you’re going to think I must be crazy! Over 2o min., really?! I promise, it is quite entertaining, and that if you bear with me, I won’t disappoint! 😉
I’m sure I’m not the only one faced with the dilemma of a good makeup routine in such sweltering heat! Summer weather calls for a much lighter look and the use of products that can help you “beat the the heat”! Through a little research ( i.e. YouTube videos/tutorials and the blog of the fabulous KeikoLynn), I’ve found what so far has been a great summer beauty routine and has has definitely helped me “beat the heat”!
