If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you may have noticed that I recently spent a little time in Dallas, TX (two weeks to be exact) for a work trip. Despite Texas being my “Native State”, I had never been to Dallas. I spent most of my time working, however, I did manage to capture a few snaps…..
Well….I guess it’s official now. I”m old. 32 years old today folks! I’m currently in Dallas, TX right now on a work trip. Away from friends and family for my birthday, but, pretty cool to be spending it in such an awesome city! I’ve always loved that my birthday also falls on Memorial Day weekend; so fun. So, guess I’ll go take myself out for dinner and glass of champagne. The celebrating will begin when I arrive home though!
Arrrrriiiibbba! It’s that time of year again! With Cinco de Mayo falling on a Monday this year, I’m sure many will be celebrating this weekend; hey – some may still celebrate on Monday! I hope you all had a great week. May your weekend me margarita-filled with fun and celebration with friends! Now, while I’m busy browsing the interwebs (mainly PInterest of course) on the many margarita recipes I want to try this weekend, enjoy this week’s Glam Round-Up of favorites.
- Hallie’s Sauza-rita recipe is DEFINITELY one I think I’ll be trying this weekend.
- Kim’s review of Zinc Café = YUM!
- I love Jessica’s awesome styling and take on the overall trend:
- THIS maxi skirt and THIS maxi dress. I’m so obsessed with and how perfect are they for Cinco de Mayo parties?
- I LOVE how Sonia “repurposed” her 90’s baby doll dress!
- 20 Do’s and Dont’s of Cinco de Mayo…..yep!
Peeps, Easter bunny tracks, pink tulips, bunny cars, egg hunts….oh yes, it’s Easter! I drove up to my father’s house yesterday to celebrate a little early. Between dying Easter eggs, all the chocolate and hiding Easter eggs, I have to say I felt like a kid again! It was so fun! Whether you celebrate Easter or not, I hope you have a great holiday weekend and get to spend some quality time with family and friends! Enjoy!
I may be in a chocolate coma right now……

Happy St. Patrick’s Day loves! I’m sure many of you have done a lot of celebrating over the weekend! Weird that it falls on a Monday this year, right? Well, I wish you a happy one! Wear your green, be safe and have fun!
Happy Valentine’s Day ya’ll. Whether you’re spending it with your special someone or solo, I hope you have a great one! Feeling a little down? Here’s a little something that made me smile! 🙂
In case you weren’t aware, New York Fashion Week is in full swing. While I of course am not there taking in all the shows personally or sipping champagne, I am still getting to enjoying seeing some of my favorite collections via this wonderful little thing called live stream. Fashion week aside, there were still many other great things on the internet this week, some of which I’d love to share with you.
Here are a few of my favorite things I came across this week:
1. Liz’s pink Tibi skirt – OMG….I want now!
2. Profresh Style’s inspires us like only she can
3. The amazing talent that is Natalie Patterson
4. A few Pretty and Fun Valentine’s day gift/”treat yourself” ideas
5. Some awesome NYFW backstage posts
6. What it’s REALLY like to create content online
7. IN LOVE with these aviator sunglasses- and they’re super affordable!
8. A super chic way to take an all black ensemble and making it pop
Out of all the Wednesday Wisdom posts I’ve done thus far, let me just say, If ever I were to have a life motto this would definitely be it. I’ve been through many struggles in my life and quite possibly have more to come, however, through those experiences I’ve become stronger and better. Even though “in the moment” it might not seem like it, in the end have faith that everything will turn out alright. Maybe not the way you thought originally, but the way it should be and the best way it should be.
Another new year. As always we are all fresh with inspiration, ambition and motivation for the future. Sometimes we stick to our new year’s resolutions and goals….sometimes we don’t. I’ll be honest, I’ve been guilty in past years of letting some of my new year’s resolutions going down by the wayside. My major resolutions this year – TO NOT LET THAT HAPPEN.
