A few things in the fashion would that have been “hitting up” my interest lately….
Uber feminine. Super girly. Comes in many fabulous colors. It’s the infamous Tibi full skirt; seen on many a blogs lately and my new current obsession. I LOVE how LIz and Blair have styled theirs above. I’m not much of a skirt or dress person per say, however, this is one I might make an exception for and have to step out of my “fashion comfort zone”. What I don’t like is the almost $400 price tag.
Luckily, I found a solution to this problem…..
details: forever21 classic fedora, sincerely jules “celfie” tee, jcrew tuxedo blazer (SIMILAR . Also love THIS black version), bailey 44 leather & lace sweatshirt, stuart weitzman “for scoop” leather platform booties (SIMILAR), current/elliot jean coated jeans, alexander wang rockie duffel bag (I found much more AFFORDABLE options recently at TJ Maxx!), tag leggings quilted pleather leggings (SIMILAR and affordable version HERE), markus lupfer sequined fox sweater, essie “wicked” nail polish (love THIS gorgeous color too) , nars “autumn leaves” lipstick
Cravings. They can be quite pesky and annoying sometimes and not always good to indulge in. However, there is nothing pesky or annoying about the cravings I’ve been having lately for a select few fall fashion items. Feel free to indulge ladies!
I’ve had many “cravings” over the past few seasons, however, lately it’s been all about graphic tees, leather and lace, a great pair of booties, a whimsical sweater sweater that begs the question – #whatdoesthefoxsay (haha!) , a “fall fedora” and more. The above are a few great key basics that I’ve had my eye on lately. Start with the basics and build from there; a philosophy that has so far suited me quite well so far fashion-wise!
What are a few keys pieces you’ve been eying lately?

Cut off shorts. They are every where you turn this summer and I’m obsessed! I’ve recently been sharing some of my fashion obsessions with you lately, and this particular trend is one of my favorites. They are statement-making, comfortable, incredibly versatile and easy to style. Pair them with a modern blazer, blouse and strappy sandals or dress them down with a great graphic tee and pair of sunglasses. They are and I see them definitely being an essential summer staple for summer for many seasons to come.
I honestly don’t know why I’ve waited so long to take part in this particular trend. There are options for all body types – as a curvy girl, I in particular like the boyfriend denim cut offs. Expect them to be making a debut on the blog in many future outfit posts soon.
What do you think of this trend? How would you style them?
A few great options….
sunglasses – old navy (similar at an AWESOME price! )
If you asked me to name one accessory that I am absolutely OBSESSED with for the summer, it definitely is reflector or “mirrored” sunglasses. They make such an awesome statement and so easily added a great added punch or “pizazz” to even the simplest of outfits! I hope to be adding a few more pairs to my collection!

3.1 Phillip Lim Peggy Metallic Ankle Booties. Ooooh these booties! I first heard about them when one of my favorite bloggers, Corals + Cognacs , tweeted about her recent purchase of these babies. I then started seeing them popping up in outfit posts on some of my favorite blogs and let me tell you – it was “love at first sigh”! Them make such a statement and are so chic. At first glance they may seem like a little too much, but when paired with an otherwise simple or neutral pieces, they are AWESOME!
I’ll be honest, they would be quite the investment for me, but one that would be well worth it, as they are high quality shoes and some that I would wear over and over again. I’m currently keeping an “eagle’s eye” on them and waiting to see if they go on sale! I sincerely hope I can obtain myself a pair, as I can imagine so many fabulous outfit posts coming with these babies been the star! 😉
What do you think of these statement making shoes?

I love the changing of the season, not only for the beauty of the leaves turning beautiful bright reds, yellows and oranges, the cooler temperatures and the holidays that come with it (i.e. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), but also and most importantly if I do say so, for the new fashion trends! I am loving fall trends we have now;polka dots, bright beautiful colors, leopard print, elegant/luxurious fur pieces (faux fur for me!), florals, graphic patterns, etc. HOWEVER, right now my current fashion obsession for this season is some fabulous shoes (in case I haven’t otherwise stated in any of my previous posts, shoes not only are a MAJOR obsession for me, but a sort of fetish! LOL!) I recently came across from designer Vince Camuto.
