{Shopping} Bootie Season

Bootie Season is here again

SHOP:  Steven Marshha pull on booties , Kenneth Cole Reaction red suede booties ,  MIA Soho booties ,  Pink and Pepper Didi booties ,  Forever 21 wrapped faux suede booties ,  Michael Antonio Jayden bootie , Michael Antonio Moesia high-heeled booties

One thing that I always look forward to in the fall season is getting to wear cute pairs of booties! It’s bootie season (haha). Don’t get me wrong, I do love riding boots as well, but there’s just something about the ankle boot (a.k.a. bootie) that really appeals to me. They look good with everything ya’ll; slacks, boot cut jeans, skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, skirts, dresses, etc. You name it and you’ll probably be able to find a great pair of booties to go with it.

Just thought I’d share with you a few booties that caught my eye recently. I truly hope these cute shoes never go out of style – they’re way too cute!

{Style} To Splurge or Not to Splurge: Cable Knit Sweaters

Ok ladies, let’s take just a moment to examine something here.  How much would you pay for the perfect sweater? I mean a soft as cashmere, warm, comfortable and stylish sweater. The sweater you’ll be wearing all fall and winter. Granted, I do believe that there are a few items in your wardrobe worth investing in ( i.e.  a great wool coat, perfectly distressed boyfriend jeans, a versatile blazer). But, what about a sweater?

A gorgeous night at Oktoberfest! See more here

Guys, I have to say, It’s been a long week. Between work during the day, social media consulting/blogging at night, battling a bit of a cold and packing up my apartment for my move next weekend, I’m exhausted. Although I’ve spent most of my weekend continuing to pack, I still was able to get a little relaxation in. However, during this week’s craziness, I was able to enjoy an evening at Tulsa Oktoberfest and it was fun! A nice breakaway and time with friends away from the craziness of the week.

Hope you all had a great week! Here’s what caught my eye on the inter webs this week.

{Home Decor} Living Room Inspiration

home decor inspo gg 3

When it comes to my personal style I’m very confident in who I am and what makes me happy and confident. If asked, I’d describe my style as trendy with classic and edgy touches. However, when it comes to my “home decor style”, I’m  still exploring so to speak. At this current time, I’d say I’m fairly eclectic when it comes to home decor. I love mixing vintage and new pieces together, I love trendy pieces and I also love feminine “Parisian chic” touches as well.

Wednesday Wisdom: Ideals of Beauty

a beautiful soul

a beautiful soul

We’ve all heard the saying “eyes are the windows to the soul.” Well, what if they truly were? What if by peering into the eyes of another human being we truly could see the soul. What do you think we’d see? These very thoughts popped into my head when I saw the above photo on Pinterest last week.

Such a beautiful, beautiful message. Putting on a new dress, wearing a dramatic red lipstick, going to the salon, it’s how what we do on the outside makes us feel on the inside; how it soothes our soul. I truly believe that true beauty come from within.

#Glamspiration : Plaid

Mad About Plaid

Oh plaid, plaid, plaid. Everyone is so mad about plaid this fall. Is it just me or does plaid just seem to be a print to signify fall somehow? What is it about this print that makes me feel so warm and fuzzy and nostalgic about the fall season?

Happy Monday! Thought I’d start off your week with a little a lot of cuteness sure to make you smile! If you follow me on Instagram then the following statement won’t shock you: I am a crazy cat lady. Am I the only one? Haha. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved cats. Don’t get me wrong, I love all animals, but there is just something special about cats.
