My mother. One day, Mother’s Day, to honor her just doesn’t seem to be enough. What words can I type here that will be eloquent enough and fitting enough to honor her? I see my mother in everything – my strength to get through the toughest of times in life, every time I laugh, every time I look in the mirror and so many other times and things. She is my best friend.
As I was looking through old pictures to use in this post, I realized how lucky I was to have had such a good childhood. Each childhood picture I flipped through made me realize how nice it is to have happy memories and how blessed I am to have the amazing mother that I have. To have someone who loves you unconditionally, whom you can tell anything too and who truly understands you – who you really are – is priceless and beautiful.
My mother and I are a lot alike. We look very much alike, are both blessed with “the gift of gab“, have similar laughs and have the same bubbly and spunky personalities. I am just like my mother and it’s an honor to be so! So mom, I love you more than I can ever say or express and I hope today and every day after this you know how honored I am to be your daughter.
