I’m going to be honest, it’s been a while since I actually went out and truly celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. This is something I changed this year (if you follow me on Instagram, you already know this 😉 ). Friends – I had a lot of fun!
For my ensemble for the weekend, I stuck with the typical spirited St. Patrick’s Day green and paired my emerald hued top with my favorite pair of Old Navy skinny jeans and my new pair of silver metallic gladiator sandals (I couldn’t find my exact pair online – they were in the clearance section, but HERE is a great similar pair), which I scored super on-sale! I never really got into last spring/summer’s “gladiator sandal” trend, however, I have to say that it’s definitely starting to grow on me. I don’t foresee the trend being quite as big as it was last season, but I think it is a great trend that never will truly die.
With all of the walking I did this weekend, wearing a pair of flats (something I rarely ever do) was most definitely a good decision.

My friend Danica and I ventured to downtown Tulsa to check out a great block party, have some
a lot of drinks and enjoy some great live music. It was a blast! Aside from the most awesome dog EVER (how cute was his little hat?!) and a green shot called a “Shamrock Kiss”, the best part was the amazing live music. It may not be known to that many, but Tulsa truly is starting to become an awesome music town!
I am definitely glad I decided to venture out and celebrate this year! I am still nursing a bit of a hangover and have sore feet, but hey…it was worth it!
How did you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year?
