SHOP THE TREND:
Lately we’ve been seeing a fun and quirky trend start to come about! Graphic print tees with fun shapes and symbols and sweaters and sweat shirts with quirky sayings embellishing them.  These pieces can easily be paired with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and heels and an easy fun look. However, what I’ve really loved seeing lately is seeing the casual pieces being paired with fancy pencil skirts, chunky rhinestone necklaces and heels.
“Causal and fun meets glam”  you could say. I’m not sure what or who started this trend, but it’s catching on like wild fire and I absolutely LOVE it!One of my favorite ways to style is to bring unexpected elements together; taking contrast and “make it work” as the almighty Tim Gunn would say!  icon wink Fabulous Fridays: Quirky and Fun    There are many designers and brands who have great options to help you rock this trend, but so far my two best sources for a dose of quirky fun are Zoe Karssen and ASOS. I am officially obsessed  and am seriously going to stock up!
What do you think of this trend? How would you style it?

I love this trend too! I like the idea of the pencil skirt with the casual top. What struck me though is how much those tops are! I’m thinking I may have to do a diy version!

Hi Sara! Yes, I know a few of them are pricy! For more affordable, but just as fabulous versions, I highly suggest checking out ASOS or Forever21 !
