Emmy Fashion: Who was a Glam Slam?
Kerry Washington - The Scandal star was a dream in this beautiful, elegant and glamorous sequined Vivienne Westwood dream. Though simple, it was a statement making dress in my opinion. The color was gorgeous with her skin tone and brought a bit of Old Hollywood glamour.
Emily Vancamp- quite possibility one of my favorite looks of the night. Keeping with the Old Hollywood glamour them, miss Revenge knocked it out of the park in this J. Mendel dress! Oh, and by the way, I am SOOOOO excited for the season premiere of Revenge on Sunday!
Julie Bowen - neon was a big trend on the Emmy red carpet this season. When I say neon, I mean NEON! Bright and bold chartreuse was prevalent. Keep in mind that this is definitely a color that not just anyone can pull off; it can be a major disaster if not styled right or without a smart makeup color to accompany it. Julie’s makeup artist and stylist deserve their own Emmy awards for this look!
This figure-hugging Monique Lhuillier dress was paired with a great smoky eye accompanied with a nude lip and simple gold accessories. <3 it!

Julianne Moore - I’ll be honest with you here. At first I really didn’t like Julianne’s dress. At first glance it seemed way too plain and the long sleeves? However, when I got a better look at this bright canary yellow Christian Dior dress, I saw how truley exquisite it was. Sometimes the most elegant and memorable looks are those that are simple; “quiet glamour‘ I like to call it.

Stephanie, I want to love that Christian Dior gown but I just don’t. But I love Julianna Moore’s hair and makeup the best, just like Rita Hayworth, she gives good face! My fave dress out of these is the J. Mendel gown! But my fave look, head to toe, was Jessica Pare. Nicole Kidman and Ginifer Goodwin were stand outs as well!

Oh I understand what ya mean! I got a general sense of “Old Hollywood” glamour on the red carpet and I loved it! As far as makeup looks go, Christina Hendricks was my favorite!
