“Code Yellow, code yellow! Calling a code yellow!” Code Yellow was originally the title I was thinking of for this post. However, when I woke up this morning and discovered how incredibly beautiful the weather was today and then coincidentally received a call from a friend to do brunch, my plans changed. Beautiful spring weather and brunch put me in a “sunny” mood, so what more perfect than to take my new Ann Taylor shirt out for a spin! I have a confession…as much as I love bright color, I’ve been a little afraid of yellow. I’ve never thought it as being a great color on me. But- when I saw this shirt in the store, it was like love at first sight and my “yellow-phobia” just disappeared! Of course the awesome, awesome zipper detailing on the back didn’t hurt either!
Sunday brunch is one of my favorite things to do. Nothing better than enjoying the company of fabulous friends, having fabulous cocktails and taking time to get one last “recharge time” before the work week starts. Brunch aside, this blogger was still determined to get in an outfit post. So my friends and I had a little impromptu photo shoot outside of the restaurant. I must say, it was fun seeing the interesting looks I was getting from passing people; I’ve never done a photo shoot in public before! 😉
Loves, I hope you had a wonderful weekend and took some time to recharge and relax. I hope you have a wonderful week!
*Note: If you happen to be near an Ann Taylor store this week, I would highly suggest you stop in to check out their spring collection. It’s amazing- full of gorgeous bright color and neon! It will definitley bring a smile to your face! Plus, you never know when they might be having a sale!*
UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!
